The time a school bus hit my car

Well tonight was an interesting night at work.
I nanny for a little girl. I pick her up from school and take her home ect.
Well tonight we got to the house and i park where i always park.
We had about 2 hours to kill before i took her to dance class.
After we had been there for about 20 minutes, the doorbell rings.
It is a school bus driver. He is on the phone.
Says nothing, goes back into his bus.
I am left to stare at this.
The bus side swiped my poor Black Beauty:(
The guy finally got off the phone.
Of course i had to call my dad to see if i needed to call the cops.
We didn't, and i just got all the bus companies info as well as the drivers.
Everything will be taken care of and I'm not one to freak out about this.
Damage....

I will just need a new bumper and paint on the passenger side panel.
She will be good as new!
From the moment i walked outside I never got mad
about it, I mean, what can you do?
Its not my fault and will be fixed.
BUT...
The next door neighbor lady....
who was already out there standing by the accident when i go out there.
I was getting information and whatnot from the driver.
And this broad feels the need to say....
"well it probably wasn't the best place to park"
OH REALLY LADY?? Thank you for that amazing advice.
I only park here every single day.
If i parked in the driveway it would block my bosses from parking in their garage.
It is a very nice neighborhood with next to no traffic.
I just love that she felt the need to tell me that.
But its totally fine that this dude ran his bus into my car.
I guess from now on ill park in the lawn.

I'm glad that your car is fixable! Also, high hive for using the word "broad."

Oh my gosh! YIKES!!

And that lady could have kept that comment to herself. No need to make the situation more tense or stressful!

BTW I saw on Erica's blog (Young & Fabulous) that you wanted some cheaper red skinny's! Old Navy has some awesome ones right now that are super inexpensive!! :)

Noise neighbors are the worst. I'll glad the damage wasn't to bad.

What are the odds? At least you got a pretty good story out of it, ha! :-) Have a good week!

Did the bus company shoulder the expenses, Courtney? Accident disputes can be hard to settle, especially if you can’t make good terms with the other party. It’s recommended to use a third party help, such as attorneys specializing in accidents to take care of these matters for you.

You’re lucky it was just slightly damaged and you were not inside the car when it happened. It could’ve been worse, if it was the other way around. It was just a fender bender, so there’s no need to call the cops or accident attorney to settle this issue. I hope your car is fixed now. Anyway, your last sentence really made me laugh. You were still able to throw a joke despite what happened, which, for me, is a good thing to cover up the bad incident. #Cristy Witherspoon
