Happy Friday!

Who is loving that it is already Friday?

I feel like this week was a quick one. Why is that?

This weekend I have no big plans.

I love busy weekend with tons a plans,

but I also love nothing weekends.

I think tonight I am going to whip up the Pioneer Woman's

veggie and cheese bagel.

Luckily I have a husband that will happily eat anything I make.

This isn't exactly a "manly" meal.

I might have to add some turkey to his.

Crazy Friday night, yes? We may even open some wine.

Tomorrow David has to work,

therefore I will be having a mommy/daughter day.

I am hoping to get 2 pinterst projects completed!

 And this centerpiece for my dining room table!

Should be a fun time!

I need help and I need it now.

I have relapsed and have fallen back into my pinterest addiction.

I kind of fell off the bandwagon when I was BUSY planning my wedding.

But now I am a married woman with many free nights,

only to be found perusing pinterst day dreaming about decorating my house.

I talked in my last post about it being a work in progress, and that's ok with me.

My latest things to obsess over are as follows.

Number one....by far.

Our built in shelves in the living room.

They have SO much potential and I just want to create a fabulously eclectic display

like all of the picture perfect ones on pinterest.

I mean. It is just so perfectly haphazardly thrown together.

Next..our mantle.

I keep throwing up random things and taking them down.

Wash.Rinse.Repeat.

Enter pinterest.

So simple and pretty.

Maybe I just need to print some pictures and head to Home Goods.

And...The dining room table.

Now, this is no fancy schmancy dining room.

I just want something besides our huge box of cheez its from Sams on the table.

I love that crate with assorted dishes and flowers.

How can I make this happen?

Love/hate you pinterest

So we all know everyone and their dog is addicted to pinterest.

And that is where I first spotted something I knew I wanted in my new house.

I love the cream and wood table.

I found an adorable one at pier1.

The table and chairs were like 1200 bucks or something.

Then my mom hit up craigs list and found a great wood table and said lets paint it ourselves.

I was sold. I went and paid $ dollars for a brand new table.

The lady was getting rid of it because she was moving.

It still had the tags on it. Such a steal.

Then it was time to paint.

I think the chairs are so cute!

Here is my finished product!

It looks just as good if I do say so myself.

I got the end chairs and covers from pier1.

I said many times I don't know how anyone planned a wedding before pinterest.

Now I couldn't decorate without it.

I asked my mom what I should put in the center of the table.

What did she say?

You better start looking on pinterest.

Of course....

A girl can dream

I have been a Pinterest lover since day one.

Now that I am moving in May, I have a whole new love for it.

And that is the Home Decor page. Im obsessed.

Here are some things I am LOVING on Pinterest:)

I registered for the containers just like this!

This table. I am recreating one similar to it soon.

Love the monogram.

The horizontal stripes.

I am hoping with the help of my mother I can make this happen.

I am all about the picture wall.

A garden. I WILL have a garden.

Next summer this is my project.

This would be a cute entry table!

                                                                      Pinterest can really get you in trouble.

The possibilities are seriously endless.

I will definitely share if and when I am actually able to do these things!
